Terms & Conditions

Rules of accommodation, conduct, and use of facilities at Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops.

1. Scope and General Conditions of Use

All accommodation services, digital booking portals, and features provided by Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops through puertoplazalasterrenas.com and its mobile instances are subject to these terms and the applicable legislation of the Dominican Republic. Use of this platform constitutes unconditional acceptance of these terms.

2. Booking Terms, Check-in Policy & Guest Regulations

  • Check-in & Check-out: Check-in begins at 3:00 PM (15:00). Check-out is strictly at 12:00 PM (noon). Early arrivals or late departures are subject to suite availability and supplemental fees.
  • Age & Identification: The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid government-issued photographic ID or passport upon check-in.
  • Payment & Security Guarantee: A valid credit card authorization hold or security deposit is required at check-in for incidentals. All electronic transactions are processed via PCI-DSS compliant gateways.
  • 100% Smoke-Free Policy: Smoking (tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside apartments and enclosed hallways.
  • Pool & Solarium Rules: The Deck 2 panoramic swimming pool and jacuzzi operate from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM exclusively for registered guests. Glass containers are strictly prohibited in the pool perimeter. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Quiet Hours & Safety: Quiet hours commence at 10:30 PM. In-room electronic safes are provided; management is not liable for unattended valuables.

3. Prohibited Uses & Infrastructure Protection

Automated data scraping, cyberattacks (DDoS/DoS), vulnerability probes, or unauthorized modification of booking parameters are strictly prohibited. Hostile IP addresses are permanently blocked at the perimeter firewall.

4. Anti-Spam Policy (Law No. 310-14)

Pursuant to Dominican Law No. 310-14, sending unsolicited commercial emails (SPAM) is prohibited. Communications are strictly limited to booking confirmations, check-in notices, or opt-in updates.

5. Intellectual Property & Architecture

The distinctive nautical boat-shaped design ("The Boat Hotel"), trademarks, logos, multimedia, and source code are the exclusive property of Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops.

6. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Puerto Plaza Hotel & Shops is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events, severe weather phenomena, or utility disruptions beyond hotel control.

7. Governing Law & Competent Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Judicial District of Samaná, Dominican Republic.
